Carrier Transport Air Conditioning's York, PA location seeks a Customer
Service Representative with responsibilities to include:
- Order entry of customer sales orders received via fax, web or e-mail:
Respond to customer inquiries received via incoming calls, fax or e-mail
- Expedite backorders
- Assist in resolution of delivery issues
- Research and process customer shortage, quality and delivery complaints
- Interact with internal departments to resolve customer issues and
respond to inquiries.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- AA/AS or higher degree
- The preferred candidate will have an AA/AS degree or higher with 5+
years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution
environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC products, order system, proficient in MS office
including spreadsheet functionality skills and ability to perform basic
calculations, such as determining discounts/margin.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential as well as
the ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks efficiently.
